Atlantiz brings you - Elvis!!!

Anyone out there had been on stage with Elvis before? I guess hardly anyone... But we, Atlantiz, had did it!!!

It was during the Boys' Brigade's 50th anniversary celebration. We had been invite to put on a show to impersonate Elvis. Too bad if you don't know who is Elvis... We are so honored to be invited to be one of the team who perform at such grand ceremony, thanks to our talented actor/comedian/singer/artist - guess you know who he is now. its our one and only Da Be Hong!!!

See, how 大牌 he is... ( the others are working very hard to make his costume and he is talking to Yxx Hxxx.. sigh...


This is a very exciting performance for us... Due to time constrain there are only 6 Atlantiz members who join the performance. No need to mention them right now, you'll see them later... But the others who can't join the performances had gave us ample of support throughout the whole process...

It was very difficult at first as no one of us are familiar with Elvis... Of course we do heard about Elvis, 猫王, who don't know? Yet, there is still much to be know about him before we can put up a good show. We had to choreograph our dances, design our costumes and basically prepare everything for the performance ourself. It was a great experience for everyone of us... I would also take this opportunity to thank our adviser c.u.m supporter c.u.m sponsor c.u.m boss - Mr. Woo...

I ain't going to describe too much of the details or else you guys are going to fall asleep... So i will just show some of the pics...

Atlantiz 9's birthday coverage

Last saturday , 10 february 2008 was our 2nd oldest member, atlantiz9-Ong's 21st birthday . It is such a pity that most of our members were elsewhere so we didn't actually celebrate his birthday with him. Anyway , ong's another gang of friend , (9li , literally 3 quater in nineth) did put up a good surprise for him. They secretly fetched yen hsia to ong's house and had her hiding inside one room without ong's knowing ( Yen hsia was calling ong by handphone all the way and keep ong busy at upstairs so he won't notice anything in downstairs ) . Without telling ong that all of us will go , he was already very surprised to see lots of his friends there to celebrate his birthday. After awhile when he settled down with us , they had yen hsia holding a big 2kg's cake and walk out from ong's brother's room and sing birthday song for him . Yea , ong was stunned on the ground that moment .

Kiss ! too bad all good angles taken up by 9li ppl..i can only take from this angle .

In addition of 9Li's celebration , Peter,fen fen and me did give Ong one rather funny gift .Its a waist trimmer to reduce tummy size .

New Atlantiz T-Shirt Preview

Yo man , guess what ? Atlantiz's T-Shirt is finally out !





I am proud to say , this year's design and shirt quality are really satisfying . I am not able to show you exactly how this T-shirt looks like , but I have a preview :

None of them was me , by the way.

I hope that we could wear it out and take a group photo someday in the future .. maybe this upcoming da tuan bai on this coming saturday we can do it ...

One more thing ... peter and ong were suggesting that we could sell this T-shirt to get some funds for future Atlantiz functions . Crazy enough , but not a bad idea . How's that , captain ? Oh.. captain was also suggesting that we could use some customization on our shirts to look exclusive from other non-atlantiz members who also own this shirt . Maybe extra paints or something. Please feel free to give you opinions .

Okay.. i myself was shocked when i saw this photo . I din realise there's this evidence of Us atlantiz dancing in Thailand still survive untill now. Well . that's the performance we put up when we went for thailand. We performed infront of all the students in one of thailand's primary school. I can still remember the cheers erupted from both our BB friends and those thai kids . Dun be bothered by the messiness of our dance : it was the cameraMan's problem. One thing to note that this dance was taught by ourselves ( aka we self-learn ) . The dance was choreographed by wee kang and co-taught by ong . This photo reminds me of those Thai Kids performing impresive drill sequences with funny Thai movements and sounds .

This photo was taken in dunno which year... Should be right after we left Form 5 since soon jeck is still with us . This is one of our annual gatherings. We were at a Malay restaurant/cafe which called "Shu Shang",which literally meants "On the tree" . The seats and tables were placed on the trees and we can "sit" on the trees while enjoying our food. The place is nice enough .. with indonesian traditional "angklung" playing some easy-listening music , nice food and comfortable environment. This is also the place where we first try to "smoke" . Tho the "smoke" we "smoked" was just "water smoke" .

3rd Photo : SportsDay of Atlantiz.

This is taken when we were at Form 5. The venue was Bukid Indah Club. We held a one-day SportsDay by playing Ping Pong, badminton , Basketball and Football all in one day. Note: We purposely look at different directions. Only those wanted to act cool looking at the camera .
